Jan 26 – I get annoyed when I see people in leadership roles who absolutely do nothing!   I am in this one particular group that meets once a week. The leader of the group comes each week. He greets the group and after the greeting, I can tell that he hasn’t prepared himself for the meeting.

He delegates his responsibilities to other people asking them to lead discussions he hopes the group might find interesting. His posture while he sits in the meeting, gives the impression that he is tired and not interested. The lifecycle of this group is in jeopardy because eventually the members of our group too will lose interest. I try to compensate by sharing some of my personal experiences with the group hoping it will beef up their lethargic mood.

I have to remember this group is NOT my responsibility. This ship is on a crash-and-burn collision.
